State Rep. C.D. Davidsmeyer said instead of focusing on wind and solar energy, the state needs to reverse course and get back to generating baseload power. “Our current plan is to just import from other states because we're not allowing our state to actually produce baseload generation.”

Help create this mess, then take credit for slightly alleviating it. The result will be that our electric bills will only be inappropriately high instead of outrageously high. As Illinois residents, that’s all we can hope for, I guess.

Don’t look now, but a solar company began to the tune of taxpayers billions by Obama and Co. in 2014 has been shut down and is being dismantled. It quickly became obsolete , consistently underperformed and was particularly dangerous to the avian population that was fried mid- air when it strayed too close to refracting mirrors.
