Chicago Public Schools should sue feds over magnet school money, teachers union president says – Chalkbeat Chicago

A CPS spokesperson said the district is “considering all legal options” regarding the magnet school money. Mayor Brandon Johnson said earlier this year that he would take the Trump administration to court if it took federal funding away from CPS because of the district’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

They can get the money back, they just have to stop discriminating. Prioritizing one race over another was wrong pre-1965, and it’s still wrong.
