Still waiting for Pritzker to rush to the scene of any raid since he says if they come for his people they come through him.

And +20 guns confiscated at the latest raid in a location being kept secret with images of the building (blurred on the news) on the South Shore. Hopefully, Johnson’s most generous folks of the community will appreciate what’s going on here. Alas, the usual race baiters and bloviating SJWs are getting plenty of air time as to how horribly scarred for life they are having witnessed the raids. Ignore them and move on, full speed ahead.

Seeking six people, But took two dozen into custody. Another source says 37 were arrested. Disrupted the lives of everyone in a large apartment building.
I don’t know for sure, but I bet Chicago Police, had they been permitted to assist, could have targeted the raid less disruptively.

Illegal Venezuelans needed to see this show of force. This was a very effective raid to get all the other criminals here to self deport.
Also, the residents who have to live next to these criminals need to know that that someone is on their side after the local politicians abandoned them.

Of course. The massive disruption is the result of the ridiculous sanctuary policies.

Almost all of the targets have been in local custody previously and could have been handed over to ICE without fanfare. But that’s not how the progressives roll.

“ Houston, when we nab an illegal already deported six times on a boat on the Chicago River, we have a problem.”.

If you are in the country illegally you are breaking the country’s laws. Period. Are any of these people lining up to become citizens? Likely not, because they don’t think they will be caught. If the Governor and Mayor choose to play checkers while crimes… Read more »

According to JB, these were innocent brown residents, being careful not to call them citizens. True definition of idiot. Either he knew they were members of one of the most notorious gangs, or he didn’t. Either way, it shows his incompetence objecting to federal agents coming in and better yet, proves DJT right – again.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
