At least three Illinois teachers unions threatened to strike at the start of this school year. This scare tactic of holding students’ hostage is an unfair bargaining tactic that is illegal in 37 other states, including Illinois’ neighbors.

Same thing happened in HInsdale – they held kids sports hostage pretending there was no money left until parents succumbed to the blackmail. Absolutely ridiculous.
