This angry, screaming, silly fool, plus Mamdani in New York, plus the Socialist wack job running for mayor in Minneapolis are going to scare away so many independents that the Republicans have to be thrilled. What a great opportunity for the Repubs to highlight these nuts, and simply ask “is this the party you want to be associated with?” What slave led general strike is he talking about? There is not and never has been one. And let’s have another Civil War? Great idea. Most folks don’t have a fond memory of the first one and might be a little… Read more »

This is what is driving voter registration changes.
Voter registration change is an excellent indicator of future voting patterns, because it involves effort to change your registration.
The disgust with the Dems is causing people to make the effort to change their registration, i.e., disassociate from them.
Here in NC, the Dems were ahead of the Republicans in 2015 by 640,000 voters. The lead today is only 10,000 voters, and by next year’s elections the Republicans should be ahead.

America is $37 trillion in debt and Democrats want another $1.4 trillion! Obviously Mayor Johnson could care less based on how he and JB have misspent our tax dollars! Both would make good dog catchers!

It seems Johnson, the CTU and the Leftist Democrats won’t let up till innocent people are hurt on their behalf. News Flash to all Democrats: PDJT won in a landslide election and has a mandate.

Brandon Johnson’s continuous ramblings about the Civil War were funny the first time, concerning the second time, and now are downright looney and dangerous. He and the CTU first worked to make Chicago illiterate, and are now working to fill vulnerable heads with crazy theories and rhetoric. His words are disturbing and disgusting.

The Civil War nonsense, the fascist remarks trying to enrage black voters to cover up the dem policy of giving more to illegals than to the black poor that need it. The resources to make neighborhoods safer go to fund other projects. Spot shotter was canceled. Please dems are doing more to hurt the black community than help it

Americans are such idiots, on both sides of the political divide. The Dems with their stupid “No Kings” nonsense. Trump’s not acting like a king, only a dictator. I left that nasty City of Chicago and live in Spain. We have a King, He follows the rules set in the Constitution for the Monarch. The UK and several other countries in Europe also have constitutional monarchies. The Republicans are idiots for believing Donald’s lies and not understanding the few truths he told. He stated several times that tariffs were his favorite word. Do Americans not understand that is a tax… Read more »

IDK about the economy is Spain, but here, even in tax crazy IL- gas was below $3 a gallon for the first time since 2020, eggs are down to as cheap as 1.50/ dozen ( from Bidenomic highs and an overzealous Biden directive to slaughter millions of hens during the plandemic ) and the stock market the tariffs was supposed to tank is humming along just fine. The Chinese are being forced to dump their junk upon the European market ( lucky you!) and then there’s that little peace thing hammered out by Trump and others that no Dem could’ve… Read more »

Auto loans, mortgages, credit card and student loan delinquencies are increasing. I don’t work, so during siesta time I watch Bloomberg on FireTV. The stock market is increasing because of the AI bubble. Many think it’s unsustainable. I hope they’re wrong. I’m living off investments. The USD has taken a beating against the EURO since Donald’s dictatorship began. I get paid in USD.

Guess you missed this CNN story from 2012? Liberals wanted Obama to be a “king” “What’s clear is that the liberals speaking out don’t want a president, they want a king. Albeit a liberal king – but still a king, who would be unrestrained by Congress as well as the checks and balances enshrined in our Constitution.  These disenchanted liberals apparently wanted Obama – upon taking office – to have instantly transformed every campaign promise into law by the simple wave of a pen. Or maybe they would have preferred Obama to have walked out onto a White House balcony… Read more »

I said the vast majority of Americans are idiots. This is evidenced by the politicians they elect.

A tariff is paid on wholesale goods. Consumers buy retail goods. Nice try.
On the bright side, you have passed the test to be an economic advisor to the Spanish government. Good luck!

So are you saying wholesalers are not passing their tariff cost down to retailers? Thanks for proving my previous post! Just so you are aware, the US Government is collecting about $40 billion in tariffs monthly. What make you think those costs are not being passed on?

Yes Spain under President Pedro Sanchez is certainly doing swell. Under his lackluster leadership Spain is even more divisive than the USA and it’s President is avoided by the rest of the European Nation as much as possible.

More divisive than the USA? Interesting perception, what do you base that on? Please clarify, what is the European Nation? Did you go to CPS?

At the time, I felt that the 2020 riots were a Marxist revolution, and still do. It failed, despite the hundreds of deaths and billion$ in property damage. Watching the political class encourage it from their ivory towers only solidified my beliefs.

Unless Mamdani gets elected Mayor of NYC, that is…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
