Illinois, Chicago attorneys file response urging U.S. Supreme Court not to allow Trump’s troop deployment – CBS2 (Chicago)

Attorneys for the state of Illinois and the City of Chicago Monday asked the Supreme Court to keep in place a temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration from deploying National Guard troops in Illinois.

I guess they want to wait until ICE agents are injured or killed before troops show up to protect them.

Why is IL taxpayer money being used to fight illegal immigration? It is absurd and seems to only be serving as an endless cash flow to the IL lawyers associations.

The two Trump judges in the 9th circuit case who voted in Trump’s favor really laid into the district court judge who tried to stop Trump. The 9th circuit devoted several pages of their opinion discussing how the district court judge was very disingenuous in her selection of facts, completely ignoring the months of mayhem in front of the ICE facility, while selectively focusing only on a very short period of time when protestors were not present, to justify her decision.
