Gubernatorial candidate Ted Dabrowski said Pritzker is divorced from the struggles of everyday people in Illinois. “On the economy, it’s the sixth-worst in the nation since he took office, on wages seventh-worst in the country, property taxes the highest in the country. Gas taxes, he doubled the motor fuel tax. They’re now the second-highest in the country,” Dabrowski said.
Sounds like a gambling problem. And someone with a gambling problem should not be in charge of Illinois finances.
Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Pritzker’s story is odd, sure seems like a lot more to it that needs investigating. Meantime though everyone knows he’s a billionaire and that was chump change for him. Unless there’s a lot more to the story of how he won this seems like a going nowhere issue. Best to spend time hammering him as Ted does with economic facts rather than overdoing the card game thing (unless more comes out).
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
