The Left Attacks the Rule of Law – Wall Street Journal

image"Our officers have been shot at and assaulted. They have faced death threats, doxxing and confrontations at their homes. Spotter networks in Chicago linked to street gangs and Mexican cartels track the movements of officers for Customs and Border Protection as well as Immigration and Customs Enforcement, relaying locations and enabling ambushes during routine enforcement operations. This month [in Illinois] a member of the Latin Kings gang was charged with putting a bounty on the life of Border Patrol Commander at Large Gregory Bovino."

It’s no more than several hundred people involved in this seditious behavior. All it will take is a little elbow grease to root these rats out of their dens.

They are working to dismantle the funding. So far it’s all west coast tech billionaires. That was the rub of the No Kings rally too-it was funded by leftist billionaires.

A video making the rounds by an ex- Antifa member revealed that the west coast ( Portland ) chapter is being funded by Chinese subversives/ drug traffickers to create a diversion from their activities. We all know that people without gainful employment don’t have the financial resources to buy armor, gas masks, etc.

Ned Ryun, author of “American Leviathan: the Birth of the Administrative State and Progressive Authoritarianism” writes: “The resistance of federal enforcement of laws is only about keeping Democrats in power. There has to be a time in the near future (I hope) that these protesters are identified as they should be – Criminals assaulting law enforcement. These people get away with more and more under the guise of “protesting”. What they are doing is not protesting. Hold your signs, chant your chants, but cause any violence or impede the officers from doing their job and you get what you get.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
