The legislation would allow officials to request that their personal information not be posted online by government agencies, people, businesses or associations. They could also request information be removed from a website if it has already been published. Anyone who violates the proposed law could be charged with a Class 3 felony.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
But they’re for doxing Ice. If they’re protecting lawmakers, then so should law enforcement and Ice be protected. Dems should not have it both ways.
This is the functional equivalent of wearing a mask. If it’s good for the ICE goose, it’s good for the public official gander.
Of course, these are the same Dems that want to unmask ICE so they can release their flying monkeys on them.
Dems ALWAYS project.
