“Chicago Mayor: “We Don’t Have Illegal Aliens”’That reminds me of that Iranian “President” (the guy with the bad suit) some years ago who told a crowd during a UN (?) related interview that “Iran doesn’t have homosexuals”. There was audible laughing from the crowd after that…

There is no question there are illegal aliens in Chicago. There is also no question that Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is a moron.

Braindead needs to realize that by being a possible relation to a slave 200 years ago doesn’t mean he deserves reparations. As a matter of fact the ancestors brought here gave him the opportunity some people in Africa do not have today. This shit about reparations to a group of people who never suffered slavery cruelty is a fricking joke

We as a nation have already had reparations. They were called the Great Society programs started in the 1960s by LBJ.
They cost hard working taxpayers $25 trillion with a “T” and we have NOTHING TO SHOW for that $25 trillion.
I want a refund!

Go to Africa and get reparations from the black slave traders who sold the black slaves .

Ugh, I hope this isn’t another “No Country for Old Men” paraphrase from me.

Sad to say, it is: If they aren’t illegal aliens, they’ll do until the illegal aliens get here.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
