ICE comes to southern Illinois – Capitol News IL

Though instances of ICE detentions in Illinois have been centered on Chicago since President Donald Trump began “Operation Midway Blitz” in September, Gov. JB Pritzker said this week that there has been an uptick recently in ICE activity in central and southern Illinois.

They need to come to central Illinois. I’m all for LEGAL immigration. But if you are still an illegal after being in our country for 20 years you are not planning on becoming a legal citizen. If you came here the legal way and started the process of becoming a citizen almost immediately, I would totally support you. But every one is a criminal plain and simple if you didnt come to this country through the proper channels, and they need to go.
