Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Rot in jail Madigan. Your controlled actions and one sided laws have irreparably damaged this State.
His lawyers were plotting this before he was convicted. That the greatest grifter in IL history would go quietly into the night was laughable.
His conviction should put into question every single law this crook pushed through the Illinois government. Clearly this grifters motivation was always on the take and when you look at the bills and laws he marshalled through…they make no sense for the state of Illinois, only his supporters. Seems like this is an opportunity, if we had an attorney general, to look into the validity of any of the laws this crook got passed.
I’m still shocked a Chicago/Illinois jury convicted this serial corrupt Dem grifter.
I would give him this choice regarding his appeal;
Your choice Mikey!!
Madigan is just upset he’s missing tax season because some other crooked Dem lawyer is gonna get the graft and not him.
Do the crime, do the time.
Good luck with the appeal Mike.
