Pretty sad this “teaching” (indoctrination) somehow became state law. Once again the state knows what’s best for our kids. The non-opt out option is very disturbing but not surprising considering how this state works

Good God. Please stop. None of this makes any sense. To have this level of focus and broad teaching throughout the entire student population on a nonessential topic that does not impact 95%+ of the students…is just plain stupid. CPS has lost sight of its primary objective, to teach kids how to read and write and understand math and science. CPS is unsalvageable. Close it. Fire them all. Start over with someone with a brain.

How about CPS and teachers being for all stand improving education? Stop the preferential treatment of identity politics.

Let’s hope that the teachers teach the students all the LGBTQIOPLKUS material as effectively as they teach them to read, write and do math..
