A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Why have a quota for EVs? Jabba and the rest of the “elected” Illinois legislators can ride their bikes, take a bus or take the train. The Dems are represented by a donkey for a reason.

Without getting into virtue signalling arguments, is there any real case based on product merits for a battery box vs a real car?
Yes. EVs have smoother and more rapid acceleration than ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles. In engineering terms they deliver instant torque, where ICE vehicles do not. Some drivers also feel EVs handle better due to the lower center of gravity for the vehicle.
The fall off is that most people don’t want them for a variety of reasons. Americans should be able to choose the automobile they want to drive and not have Government manipulating every single aspect of our lives. How’s Jumbo going to “phase out” fossil fuels over the next 20 years? Oh, we know…the tax on Natural gas, Gasoline, LP, etc., will just continue to increase in Illinois. Jumbo will follow the lead from the vampire governor in CA.
Taxpayers money shouldn’t be used to subsidize the Democrats narrative for EV’s. That includes building charging stations!!
