Federal judges overseeing high-profile court cases in Chicago area, U.S. facing uptick in threats – ABC7 (Chicago)

At least five federal judges representing high-profile cases have received some form of threats, including those overseeing cases about the National Guard's deployment in Illinois; federal immigration agents' use of force; fencing outside of the Broadview U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement processing facility; a warrantless arrest consent decree; and the conditions inside the Broadview ICE facility.

Some if the increase is attributable to incendiary language coming from Pritzker (take the Broadview 7 goofballs as one example), who is more interested in staking an anti Trump political posture to position himself for a presidential run that will fizzle. Trump is Trump, Pritzker should have taken the high road first, actively seeking to work with ICE to focus on criminals and provide state assistance for that very specific focus. People are sick of SJW activist holdovers appointed by Obama/ Biden circumventing law based on their feelings. The Latinx that let the repeat, criminally insane arsonist go is a perfect example of that. “ He was “acting in accordance with his mental illness “ was reportedly given as an excuse to be set free after trying to set a Federal building on fire.

But Chicago is so peaceful with some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, maybe these judges need a social worker.
