The incident came four days after a mother and her 9-year-old son were attacked by a group of that child’s bullies outside another CPS elementary school in South Deering. And in September, a mother was forced to pull her sixth-grader out of Pershing STEAM Magnet Elementary School in Bronzeville after bullying went ignored for months.
Nah, CPS is way too busy to worry about bullies… they have a couple very important Education Business conferences to get to in Hawaii or Italy. Again – CPS and Public education needs to focus on the core directive – less administrative “help” and teach kids how to read, write, add, subtract, science and social studies/Government…and also, be aware enough of your surroundings and what is happening with students to provide some level of protection.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
