A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
This huge FU (sorry, there is no other way to adequately describe it) begins and ends with Toni Preckwinkle. For her to say the problem “was the responsibility of the Treasurer, and no other office,” is a dereliction of duty. No protections for the county were written into the initial contract with Tyler Technologies- Teflon Toni just handed them a blank check.
