Said mall has a no unaccompanied minors after 5 pm rule that apparently was ignored. We all know what, and who, started this “ isolated incident “.
It’s a shame because in the mid/late 1990s up into the 2000s I used to go to Louis Joliet Mall to Christmas shop, and shop for gifts for friends and girlfriends. While it wasn’t as nice of a mall as say Fox Valley, Woodfield, or Oak Brook, it was a decent place to shop. I used to even catch a movie at the movie theaters in the mall.
