A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
What if the parents are among the thugs? Who talks to them?
The mayor just announced how to circumvent the curfew: “Parents: talk to your children about their plans, and help them identify a safe place where they can go if they get separated from the group and a safe route home.” In other words, just say you were separated from an adult and meet your friends.
Outsource public order to parents who can’t get their children to go to school? How many “youngsters” actually have parentS?
Is he joking? Mostly one parent households, and the moms are out partying harder than the kids! Plus he is down about 2,000 to 3,000 officers, and he does not want to pay them overtime. His comments are just to encourage the naive to come down there and mix it up with the silly kids.
Baby mama will be with a new daddy . No time to worry about their children!!
Will the authorities be checking the papers of those they are profiling as being under the age of 18. I’m outraged.
