Illinois lawmakers hand $740K to ‘Floating Museum’ – Illinois Policy

The Floating Museum’s political leanings surface in its piece, The Garden, linking “colonialism, capitalism and violence.” The Illinois Department of Human Services issued the grant for “operating expenses and prior years’ expenses.” This is extremely vague and lacks any information on the organization’s goals or what is expected for taxpayers’ $742,847.

$750K…for a WHAT? A floating art museum and woodshop class on the chicago river? PrOgram after prOgram of waste, patronage hires and corruption. How does this crap get through the budget process without someone saying, “wait a minute – this sounds stupid!” So many of these absolute joke of “grants” make no sense to the public and tax payer. What a waste of tax dollars that the majority of the citizens of Illinois will never-ever see. If Chicago wants it…let them pay for it.

It’s a slush fund to Democrat supporters. They loot the government.
