“The more Democratic governors learn about it, I fully expect that most will come around and participate,” said Colorado Gov. Jared Polis. “Because from our perspective, it’s free money.” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker remains undecided about opting into the program.

If accepting it would cause criticism from the CTU, it’s not free money to Jelly Belly.The CTU runs this state; JB is only a figurehead.

Well many in Illinois feel similar to comments made by Alison Lamothe of the Madison County Board who said “she did not like it because it came out of Trump’s Big beautiful Bill.” so is it would not be surprising that Pritzker would oppose it as well? The media of course should be pounding on the table to educate the public about this great program designed to further the children’s educational future but, this is Illinois, where the media has become Orwellian newspeak for the Democrat party.

IL had its own Invest In Kids program designed to enable lower income kids in poor school districts to attend local private schools in effort to get a better education. Our fearless “leaders” such as Pritzker, Harmon, Emmanuel, in fear of retribution by the CTU, allowed it to lapse. That led directly and quickly to the closure of multiple private schools and forced those kids back into poor local public schools. It is well known that Pritzker is a billionaire.
