I saw the video posted. It satirizes all the DNC’s brightest stars. JB the Hutt is an elephant in it. Hilarious. No apology needed. Compared to the tripe I have seen for 9 years posted by leftists, the vid is downright clever. If anything, gorillas should be upset for being portrayed as the odiously smug Barry and Michelle.
You can also count the squatter problem as yet another type of fraud/theft that is rampant in Chicago. Even though that anti-squatter bill was supposed to go into effect in January, police said recently they don’t know how to implement it.
I don’t believe Chicago crime is going down. Random assaults, brazen daylight shootings, burglaries, drug dealing, stealing, committing fraud, and squatting have become normalized.
What a pathetic article! There were squatters and criminal activity. The landlord was desperate for help. Fifteen of “the immigrants and others who lived in the building acknowledged there was criminal activity there, including the murder of a Venezuelan man last summer…” Isn’t that dangerous enough? According to ProPublica, squatters, criminal activity, and a murder in an apartment building are trivial matters. (And I’m sure the squatters were trashing the place and doing drugs.) Would you want to live in this building? Can understand why property managers or maintenance people would avoid it.
What’s comical in a sad way is how the Leftist shills swallow it as truth.
ProPublica is the one of the largest purveyors of “BS” in the entire liberal media ecosphere. You can assume everything they print are straight up lies and fabrications. They’re no better than the now defunct ‘National Enquirer’ except they try to give themselves a veneer of respectability. Do not let that fool you – they are the definition of fake news.
A bunch of squatters set up camp in a rental complex and refuse to leave. Unlike the State of Florida, Crook County and Chicago rules give landlords basically no rights at all. There are a few illegal immigrants among the squatters. The landlord doesn’t know who is legal or not, all he knows is that there are people costing him money by squatting.
