What Being a Billionaire Scion Taught JB Pritzker About Standing Up to One – Mother Jones

"But it is impossible to separate Pritzker’s contemptuous response to (President) Trump from the path he took to office. The desire to wield his advantages without being reduced to a caricature of them has been the central tension of his career. The family name opened doors and helped him weather setbacks that might have sunk a poorer candidate. It allowed him to spend more than $300 million on political campaigns since Trump’s first election and acquire a unique duality of influence—part officeholder, part megadonor."

But his pay to play money couldn’t buy him a Senate seat.

In my opinion all Politicians(Dem, GOP) lie. JB Pritzker is just so blatant about it. He pretends to be for the average guy. J.B. Pritzker has implemented over 70 tax and fees since he was elected. The majority of these taxes are DIRECTLY on the average person. In Illinois politicians do two terms. One in Springfield and one in Statesville.

“Mother Jones”? Yeah, that’s who I turn to for unbiased reporting. :-/
JB is nothing more than an opportunist who thinks he can win friends/influence people with those Billions. Don’t forget, JB is the Wealthiest Politician in the US (yes, more than Trump). JB spent $323 Million in his 2 previous campaigns for Governor.
If you Really think he would be as influential if he Didn’t have those Billions, then you’re as gullible as those who vote for him thinking things will get better in IL.

Mother Jones can publish a good article if the topic is apolitical. A couple screens of this article’s leftist bull dung was all I could handle.

Mother Jones hates billionaires, save for lefty loon billionaires like JB the Hutt. The offshore trust funds and multiple mansions with underpaid staff should have put off the marijuana haze crowd.

Nope. JB the Hutt gets a pass.
