Plans are underway to get rid of Cook County’s property tax sales in the coming years – Chicago Sun-Times

They will have to cancel tax auctions for a while.

Oh, I bet Dems are mad that they can’t steal more from taxpayers. What new tax will they make to recoup this loss of money.

“Illinois is the only state that has not yet formally changed its property tax sale rules to align with the Supreme Court ruling, according to Kirvan.” Illinois legislators can pass all kinds of dumb laws but they cannot seem to do something they are required by law to do.
