School board members: Chicago should wait for a fully elected board before hiring a permanent CPS CEO – Chicago Tribune*

"The news this week that the board is terminating its contract with its search firm to identify a permanent CEO and parting ways with the Alma Advisory Group is not a 'reset,' nor is it a decision based on merit. It is a calculated political maneuver designed to clear the path for a candidate who will serve City Hall, not our students."

Why bother? Mayor Cliff Notes can deliver CTU’s ultimatums directly to the CPS board. No need for a highly compensated and pensioned intermediary.

What the hell difference would it make…now or later…it will be a useful moron, collecting a gigantic salary that makes no difference to the operation of that School District. No difference at all. Nothing will change, they will work out their 3 year deal, collect their salary, benefits, bonus and separation fee and move on to the next stupid school district.
