JB Pritzker, for his part, launched a series of campaign ads to reinforce that he is standing up to Donald Trump, and advocating for Illinois. He is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination.
What does ‘Standung up to Trump’ really mean for working citizen taxpayers in IL struggling to pay sky high taxes and fees and rents? I suggest ABC7 do more than repeat inane campaign slogans designed for Leftists.

God help us if this moron gets elected again, every term the state budget goes up 20%.
Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Ted Dabrowski’s candidacy provides an opportunity to enthusiastically vote for someone rather than against someone or for the lesser of multiple evils.
So true. Ted seems like the real deal. He needs to be in office in some capacity. Maybe State Rep or Senate, or County if the Governorship doesn’t pan out. He can expose these clowns for what they are. Sadly, until the Average Joe makes this a priority, nothing will change. Those who had nothing to do with the financial fiasco will have to bear the brunt of the financial pain. We need people who will lead instead of gutless fools like we have now in the city, state or county
I find it interesting that we are blaming the voters, rather than blaming Ted’s campaign manager or the IL GOP apparatus, for his poor showing out there.
Voters have more information at their fingertips than ever before. Nothing is stopping them from doing some research and choosing a candidate that they think will lead Illinois to a brighter future. Instead, the lazy voter wants 15 and 30 second sound bite ads to help their feeble mind decide.
Not to worry though. I have a feeling the voters will keep getting what they deserve.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
