Illinois guaranteed income advocates push for permanent statewide cash handout program – FOX News

"Our long-term vision, our North Star, is to win a statewide permanent guaranteed income program for 100,000 eligible Illinoisans," said Byron Hobbs, director of organizing for the economic freedom team at Community Change. "This economy has not worked for poor and low-income folks in the city of Chicago, across Illinois and across this country."

“This economy has not worked for poor and low-income folks in the city of Chicago, across Illinois and across this country.”

This Hobbs dude utters this (unbeknownst to him) hilariously ironic statement, and no one bats an eyelash. Sigh…

Don’t worry, when the Obama Center, on Chicago’s south side opens, there will be plenty of jobs to lift the low income to the middle income brackets…just kidding.

These recipients already receive Medicaid and SNAP, why do they need more? Get an education and a a job for those that do not have a disability. Maybe these recipients could stop having 6+ kids that they can’t afford-or at least the state should only limit the amount of kids that they pay for. Stop paying for illegals. People with their hands out for money should be told no.

Because they always need more. When you don’t work for anything, you appreciate nothing.

The most ridiculous prOgram ever. If we have the current level of corruption and theft with the existing give away prOgrams…my goodness, this would a landslide. The entire concept of this is absolutely absurd. Financial assistance programs are intended to give a leg-up to those who have had a problem…not a life-time income…temporary is the operative word for these prOgrams. Only in Illinois would you have grifters, community organizers, faith leaders, etc., freely operating and enough morons elected to office to come up with this bill.

Cut the programs they are going to need to pay for this FIRST, then when we see the money this can be considered. These guaranteed income advocates seem to have blinders to the fact that Illinois is already broke and BILLIONS in debt.
