There have also been discussions between the United Center’s owners — the Wirtz and Reinsdorf families — and the city on public funding for a new Pink Line station near the United Center. But that proposal hasn’t advanced yet.
So, billionaire owners that give fans a horrible product, want even more tax money. Reinsdorf has made a living on our dime. OK.

If you take enough hopium and look at this
so called project through subdued light
you might see something good.
Hopium wears off, lights come up and what do
you have, 7-11’s that take snap cards, fish and chicken stores, carry-out liquors, M-B churches,
junkies and sellers, special service ladies.
The flushing sound is all of that money down
the drain.
this is unless bond markets give the state and city the one finger salute.

Sounds like a great idea. You people can afford it. Apparently, your real estate taxes are not high enough.

Yeah…looks lovely. Let’s hope it’s just Chicago residents that get to pay for this tax break…although I know that won’t be true. I know this is a rendering showing how lovely it can be…but where do the people who attend an event park? Looks like they are turning the super convenient parking lots into shopping, restaurants and robbery areas.

So, billionaire owners that give fans a horrible product, want even more tax money. Reinsdorf has made a living on our dime. OK.
