although this is a horrifc tragedy, it also seems to be a clear case of selective empathy as trump supporters are quick to defend all of the violence against legal immigrants & innocent american citizens which have been perpetrated by ICE.
More American Citizens have been killed by illegal immigrants than vice versa. It’s not even close.

JB and Johnson should both be held accountable because they won’t cooperate with ICE. If they had turned him over to ICE when he was in custody, she might still be alive. But Pritzker and Johnson only care about criminals and illegals, not US citizens and victims.

The words being said by the Illinois State Governor and the Mayor of Chicago regarding this crime are pathetic and embarrassing. These are two people who implemented policies and proactively directed state resources to cause increased crime and less safety for the pubic… their actions absolutely caused the conditions for the murder of this young woman.
Both of them as well as the judges, Kwami and those that voted for the Safety Act in Springfield as well as the Chicago council members pushing the release of illegal immigrants and criminals repeatedly back onto the streets should be held responsible.
