The bill would establish “an investment pool and electronic payment system for nonprofit organizations.” But most banks and several mutual fund companies are happy to provide these services. Why should the State be involved?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
