Wisconsin sheriff sues Skokie woman for defamation over claims of immigration detention – CBS2 (Chicago)

Sundas "Sunny" Naqvi drew national attention with claims that she and five others returned from a work trip in Turkey March 5 and were held by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at O'Hare International Airport for 30 hours, moved to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview, and then transferred to the Dodge County Jail. Her supporters, including Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison, decried her alleged detainment before surveillance images were released to show Naqvi was able to leave O'Hare about 90 minutes after she landed.

Hello, Indiana!

Call me uptight, but I think making false statements that could cost a person his job is pretty malicious . Apparently this woman is in need of money and saw this as a way to get some. I guarantee if she could’ve made the charges stick, some bottom feeder attorney would’ve been ringing her phone until it was red hot.

she’s a shakedown artist.
She scammed her ex-boyfriend to give her $25,000 in a month to help here fabricate her story.
She’s claims to work for a German company thatrequired the “business trip” to Turkey but they say she has never worked for them.
she falsely accused a professor of sexual assault at U. Of Illinois and served 2 years probation for it.
she was expelled from the university fro breaking into a ex-boyfriends apt.
