Local lawmakers are now pushing to criminally charge parents whose children were tied to the crimes, but Johnson has stopped short of endorsing the proposal.
Sure, criminally charge the parents…if you can find them. But, you’d also likely have to charge the grand parents as this is a generational behavioral problem now enhanced by the tool of social media. The state criminal laws are tilted toward the criminal using the ridiculous safety act law that Jumbo put in place. There is no penalty, no downside, no nothing. This 18 year old adult who drove into police and injured 5 of them will likely be out later today.
