A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Let’s see if they charge them or let them go. Arrest, charge, convict, and jail all participants. Criminal mob actions need real consequences.
A 14 year old with a felony charge. Weapons confiscated. As Illinois stands now…There is no penalty that will be imposed on those charged with a felony that will change or even impact the behavior. Why would a rational human being ever put themselves in a place and conditions like that, with the risk of harm, arrest or injury?
