The City Spent Millions On A Flailing Domestic Violence Program No One Asked For, Advocates Say – Block Club Chicago

Last year, victim specialists attempted to reach 18,052 victims of violent crime and made contact with 6,383 of them, mostly domestic violence survivors. Of the 56 community service providers on the program’s list, only four organizations said they received any referrals.

No way. This pile of confiscated taxpayer cash was gleefully slurped up by the friends and pals of political animals with some finding its way right into political animal wallets. This worked exactly as intended.

That’s not true. The lobbyists and contractors who run these programs asked for it. They need the money for the kickbacks to the politicians that advocate for the program. It’s a nice system that works very well in a location populated by pond scum.
