Jim Dey: "This time, prosecutors stopped playing around. They asked the judge to impose sanctions and backed up their arguments with a report that showed (Streator resident Robert D.) Matthews had 'violated his home monitoring more than 200 times.' The SAFE-T Act allows a 30-day stay in jail for violations, prompting prosecutors to ask for 30 days for each violation. Judge Howard Ryan Jr. ordered Matthews to serve 90 days in jail."
