The article states Choi had issues with his colleagues, which I assume means fellow professors, as well as Dennis Judd, the head of the political science department (yet also a professor). Doesn’t that make them all members of the UIC United Faculty union Local 6456? If so, what is the union’s stance on the behavior of their members? I’d bet that if it were the head administrator of the school, the union would be all over this. Yet when it’s member-to-member harassment, the union is silent.

By the way, Ayers admitted on a video I’ve seen (on youtube) in front of students, that he was the ghost-writer for Obama for ‘Dreams From My Father’…….which is 100% believable for many reasons. Yea, I think Admissions Depts… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
