I recently spent a month overseas (not Europe) and found the day-to-day life extremely pleasant. Why? Because I wasn’t inundated on an hourly and daily basis about race politics, gender politics, gay politics, religion politics.
It was as if the country enjoyed just living and enjoying each other’s company.
America (and Illinois) is truly becoming an unpleasant place to live.
