Here’s the 1,581-page budget bill first seen today

And there's a separate Budget Implementation Bill of 1,088 pages linked here!  The lawmakers who will vote on this have little idea what's in it. Nor does the public. And thousands of pages of other critical bills are being likewise shoved through today. No summaries published that we've seen yet.

Section 10. The sum of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability for the purpose of making pension pick up contributions to the State Employees’ Retirement System of Illinois for affected 12 legislative staff employees.
