I have no problem with legal immigrants. Why the left is pandering to illegals as well as violent criminals is really beyond comprehension

63% of Non-Citizen Households Access Welfare Programs
Compared to 35% of native households

I have no problems with immigrants, until, you know, I have to start paying for them. it’s not ‘Fair’ to take money from natives who need help to line the pockets of immigrants. We are doing them a favor letting them in here. They should not turn around and mooch off the system which they overwhelmingly do.

other than a syrian immigrant in Europe, there is no where else in the world an immigrant can just show and start mooching the system.

“JB Pritzker Signs Law to Protect Immigrant Renters” Wow. What an inaccurate and purposefully deceiving headline. A more accurate headline should read: “JB Pritzker Wastes Illinois Taxpayer Dollars, Virtue Signals and Signs Unconstitutional and Unenforcable Law Protecting ILLEGAL CRIMINAL Immigrants”. The once noble profession of Journalism has descended into a propaganda mouthpiece worthy of Joseph Goebbels.

American is a nation of immigrants and welcomes LEGAL immigrants with open arms. Illegal immigrants are criminals and should be deported. Period.

America is not a nation of immigrants. We are a native of 300,000,000 natives and 30 million (or a lot more) immigrants. We should severely curtail immigration back to 1920’s levels when the doors were essentially shut for decades until the salad bowl became a melting pot. We need that now too.

Insane levels immigration – which is now at the highest levels proportionally in the *entire history of America*… Read more »

How is this not a First Amendment violation?

I am now being told by my state government that I cannot make a perfectly lawful, truthful statement to an actual arm of the federal government in order to patriotically enforce existing law?

F you, JB. Go ahead and sue me, and see how that works out.

You have to be a complete anti-American to vote Democrat.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
