Since last August — when the U.S. military withdrew from Afghanistan, sparking a humanitarian crisis — about 2,500 Afghans have resettled in Illinois, according to the Illinois Department of Human Services. One 40-year-old man who fled Afghanistan last fall has learned how to ride the CTA, get around using Google maps, and carry groceries back to his apartment. But he’s also having difficulty sleeping, experiencing panic attacks and trying to navigate America’s health care system to improve his physical and mental well-being.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Anguish over the fact the traded Afghanistan for Chicago. It was quieter in Kabul!
Well rhe future of the dollar is becoming more clear with each passing day of Democratic governance.
