Follow the money. Trib and Wirepoints should identify and investigate the company-owners, and their political contacts, of these high-cost furtively-awarded “migrant aid” contracts.

It wouldn’t matter one bit if Mayor Johnson’s extended family got 95% of the contracts. No one would care. Democrats can do no wrong in the eyes of their voters. They’ll overlook the most blatant corruption, cronyism, graft and outright theft, as long as it is Democrats doing it. Because they associate Republicans with bad, bad things. In fact, many of Mayor Johnson’s voters view cronyism as how things get done. Gettin’ while the gettin’ is good. Sean Thompson screams about the government mafia all the time and he’s not wrong. The rest of us ask for corruption free good… Read more »

Typical Democratic crisis. Relate a problem, them demand funds to fix problem of your own making; aka an opportunity to steal!

Who audits Chicago public spending?

Other cities are found to not be in compliance with HUD policies.
But if a tree is chopped down in a forest and sold for personal profit by corrupt political insiders, does it make a sound?

Count on CTU’s demands to veer further from reality until the public finally says no.

Gov. Pritzker’s ‘ethics reform’ eliminates competitive elections and choice for voters – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about a new law passed by the Democratic supermajority and signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that results in brazen election interference, keeping Republicans off ballots; about a referendum that tests the waters for a renewed progressive income tax hike; about how the Parental Notification referendum question was knocked off the ballot; and why laws like that pass so easily.

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”
