Abbott Laboratories to invest $500M in manufacturing, add 200 jobs in Illinois – Chicago Sun-Times

The Illinois expansion will happen at the company’s headquarters campus in Abbott Park, according to company spokesperson Maddie King. The medical giant also has offices at Willis Tower.

Our country desperately needs to manufacture our own medicines and medical devices. If it takes tariffs to spark onshoring, so be it.
