Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The ACLU can Pound Sand.
Many years ago the ACLU stood for something good; no more.
Maybe I’ll just say no, no more immigrants, and I’ll tell them to their face go to home, but they probably won’t understand, not speaking English.
Ah yes, such tremendous benefits. As an example, the people of Oak Brook had their fears of change eliminated on Monday, when they found out that 2 Venezuelan migrants had been arrested and placed on electronic monitoring after stealing $1,700 from the Macy’s at Oak Brook mall. Who wouldn’t want to have this type of behavior in their neighborhood? And with JB Pritzker’s no bail law, the illegals only have to deal with electronic monitoring. Shall we wager how long it took for the two culprits to remove their new bracelets? Yep, those migrants have all kinds of benefits!
