Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. i always ask myself one question when a article like this appears, and it angers me greatly are great men and woman of are armed services are so ignored by are federal and local governments it makes me sick. It’s because Republicans lose elections in IL, and our interests are ignored completely. In fact, you are punished for voting against the party in charge..There is nothing worse than living in a Republican area in a Blue state…
