I work in a union facility, I’m a low level manager, therefore non-union. The union pretty much exists to benefit the terrible workers. The good workers hate the union. All pay is seniority driven. Best worker make same as worst worker if same amount of years. Almost impossible to fire anyone, even if the have terrible attendance.
These dummies don’t know how good they have it. Granted working at Starbucks is not the greatest job but what skills do they have and what other jobs are they qualified for. They get a decent amount of benefits compared to other entry level jobs. Wonder what benefits they would get if they worked for a Dunkin Donuts franchisee, I’m guessing none.

Considering the equivalent entry-level options out there, Starbucks probably ranks near the top. There’s a certain cache saying you’re a barista than, say, a bagboy or fry cook. Unless you have to deal with this guy every day…
