Alexi Giannoulias got more than $300K from trucking industry while his agency gave illegal licenses – Just The News

Illinois Secretary of State Giannoulias is in a standoff with the Trump Transportation Department over its review of the state’s commercial drivers licenses which found that 1-in-5 licenses issued by Giannoulias’ office were done so illegally. Giannoulias has positioned himself as a defender of the state’s trucking and logistics industries, arguing the federal demands are damaging the state’s economy, its truckers, farmers, and others involved in the logistics sector.

Why is this news? It is a foregone conclusion that these political filth are stealing. Are you still enjoying being their tax slaves? Here’s a newsflash. Pritsker will be re-elected because the vast majority of your population is ignorant, illiterate, lazy leeches.

Why does this seem like the “Licenses for Bribes” scandal that got George Ryan thrown in jail?

Well, of course he did. That’s why he is defending providing CDL licenses to illegal immigrants who can’t speak or read english. Some trucking companies want to use illegals because they can pay them less…but Giannoulias already knows this. How he can look at himself in the mirror everyday knowing he has placed US Citizens, Illinois Residents and tax payers at risk is beyond the pale.

Business as usual by Illinois political animals. Kwame could look into this schite, but he’s too busy making the ‘work of his life’ spending confiscated taxpayer dollars on fecklessly suing Uncle Fed.

Investigate, arrest, and charge him like Ryan. Alexi complicit in voter fraud, since he won’t notify the election board when people move and change their address on their license. That allows voting from multiple addresses.

Alexi worked for his family’s bank which was shuttered for financial mismanagement. Why should Illinoisians expect logic and honesty?

Eliminating road tolls, and corresponding administrative bloat, would be a tremendous benefit for all motorists and Illinois citizens. Eliminating crony construction companies from bidding or doing work on public roads would make travel and logistics less expensive. Who else has lost tons of money and time from the 90/94 delays? I can’t count how many times I traveled on 90/94, through all the blocked off construction zones, and didn’t see work being done. Why the hell has this job taken years? How about fixing the I88 to I290 merge into one lane? This is one of the most ridiculous logistics… Read more »

Let me add the Cal- Sag bridge over the canal at 127th Street in Crestwood. It has been closed for repair for at least 4 years.
