A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
How is squatting any different than breaking and entering, burglary, home invasion, or criminal trespass? All these crimes should put you away for a very long time. It was announced today Pritzker is going to sign the bill it will go in effect Jan 1 2026, guess it took Marcus Evans to have an issue to wake up Pritzker. If I ever came home and found squatters in my home guess what party over I will serve my own eviction notice.
I wonder what would happen if someone squatted in one of Pritzker’s Chicago properties?
As soon as something irritates a politician there will be some action. We, the common unwashed citizens, are treated with disgust.

There are already laws on the books for this. ‘Democrats’ AKA Communists simply need to enforce the existing laws. But the ‘Democrats’ AKA Communists actually support squatters as property and wealth redistribution. JB will never sign this law nor will the ‘Democrats’ AKA Communists ever enforce trespassing and squatting laws. Squatters taking over property isn’t a bug; it’s a feature. From each according to his ability; to each according to his needs. With the NY mayoral election the communist mask is finally slipping off of the ‘Democrats’ AKA Communist Party.
JB doesn’t want to sign the bill because it’s against illegals and criminals. We all know JB prefers this groups over US citizen taxpayers.
Another instance in which Dem policies are swell- until they begin affecting Dems. Then they are a problem.
For Heaven’s sake, a timetable to sign a bill? It could be over and done with in 20 seconds. Drop the donut and pick up a pen.
