There is a very simple way for ICE to be scaled back. So simple that even Squidley Quigley can understand it:
Have state and local governments comply with ICE detainers of criminal illegal immigrants.
No extra enforcement activities needed.
No bystanding illegal immigrants nabbed during extra enforcement activities and sent home.
It’s so simple even a doltish political animal like Squidley can understand it.
