Annual report on financial condition of State of Illinois pensions – COGFA

This covers the five state-level pensions for the year that ended June 30, 2018. Their combined unfunded liability increased by $4.8 billion, 3.7% from the prior year, to a total of $133.5 billion.

We’re about 3 years away from when the state starts putting more money into the universities’ retirement system than in the universities.
