If Lightfoot was smart at all and didn’t have such thin skin, she would see that should take President Trump up on his offer for help. If they succeed, she would be put on a pedestal for for addressing criminal justice in an inner city and she can seek to do it on her terms. If they don’t, she can do what she already does and blame Trump. It would be a win-win for her.

Progressives always double down on stupid. Ideology always ‘trumps’ results with them. I know that’s just a generalization, but it seems to be true with nearly everything they do.

Additional federal funds, resources, intelligence. All of it could be helpful to combat the gang violence. When did Lori announce her solutions to the problem? Must of missed that presser.
